Dyslexia is a learning difference that can cause problems with:
• reading, spelling and writing
• numeracy skills, such as making calculations, mental maths, times-tables
• getting organized, meeting deadlines and personal organization
• memory
• sequencing, such as getting dates and numbers in the right order and or
• concentration
About 1 in 10 of us experience some form of dyslexia.
Many famous and successful people are living with dyslexia. People with dyslexia can be:
• creative and imaginative
• good at solving problems
• inventive; and or
• good communicators
