Help 4 Teens - Connexions County Durham

Your Careers Library / How to Find Information

► Finding Information in the Careers Library Explained

The Information is classified using a special coding system called CLCI, (Careers Library Classification Index). This classifies the information into Job Families of careers in sector areas e.g. Jobs in Health or Jobs in Engineering.

Two rolodexes (B-Y Rolodex and Z Rolodex)and an alphabetical booklet are provided to make understanding the codes and finding the information easier.

The Connexions Resource Library is divided into two main sections:

Job Information

This has information about jobs and careers arranged in Job Families. These binders are coded with the letters B-Y and are referenced in the coloured rolodex and leaflet.
